HEARINGS

A hearing was conducted to consider the appeal of Dominique Burton, a student at Lawrence North High School. Dominique had been declared ineligible based on Rule 19-4. A hearing was requested in order to appeal the ruling and obtain full eligibility. Following the hearing the student’s family and legal counsel for the IHSAA submitted findings of fact. Having analyzed all of the available data, the IHSAA Review Committee voted to change the ruling to limited eligibility.

A hearing was conducted to consider the appeal of Anthony Forte, a student at Mishawaka High School. Anthony had been declared to have limited eligibility on the basis of Rule 19-6.2. A hearing was requested in order to appeal the ruling and obtain full eligibility. Following the hearing, legal counsel for the student and for the IHSAA submitted findings of fact. Having analyzed all of the available data, the IHSAA Review Committee voted to uphold the Commissioner.

A hearing was conducted to consider the appeal of Caleb and Joshua Berridge, students at Evansville Day School. Caleb and Joshua had been declared to have limited eligibility on the basis of Rule 19-6.2. A hearing was requested in order to appeal the ruling and obtain full eligibility. Following the hearing the student’s family and legal counsel for the IHSAA submitted findings of fact. Having analyzed all of the available data, the IHSAA Review Committee voted to uphold the Commissioner.
